【對焦中英翻譯 】 get in on the act 的翻譯思辨(請耐心看完)

我說劍橋的定義不好,很多人不以為然,主要的原因,是他們沒經過比較,不知好的定義是甚麼,以get in on the act 為例,劍橋寫的是to take advantage of something that someone else started

We did all the hard work of setting up the company, and now everyone wants to get in on the act.

Example: Everybody wants to get in on the act.(Free Dictionary)

Sales of ‘green’ products have increased dramatically and now a lot of manufacturers are trying to get in on the act.

還是不懂的話,我拿壓箱寶,給各位聞香:get in on the act (idiom) 跟進。

Pistons coach Larry Brown got in on the act, too, venting his displeasure with sarcastic shouts.

Small wonder that everyone is trying to get in on the act.
