pushover 吃素的
She's a kind and gentle person, but she's no pushover.
她是一個親切、和善的人，但她不是吃素的。
台灣的英文通(意指編寫漢英辭典或在網路上解答漢英問題的人)令人詬病之處就是不懂裝懂，專門在說笑話，所以，省油的燈在他們的認知中就變成了 lamp that does not burn(直譯) ，或someone that can be easily dealt with(意譯)。
但，老美是這樣講的嗎?非也! 老美口中「省油的燈」指的是pushover：
我知道她不是省油的燈，她遇上大選手一向都打得很好。
I know she’s no pushover and she always plays well against the big players.
然而，開發中國家的汙染者可不是省油的燈。
The developing-country polluters, however, were not a pushover.
在華人世界，很多人不知道pushover就是省油的燈、省油的燈就是pushover。
