act out (idiom) 鬧事。
If we act out in class, we will be sent to the principal's office. 我們在班上鬧事會被送到校長室。

act up (idiom) 出狀況。
1.My youngest child acted up in restaurants often when she was 2 years old. 我最小的女兒兩歲時常在餐廳出狀況。

2.What if the North Koreans start acting up again? 如果北韓又開始出狀況,那該怎麼辦?
