1. 頑固stubborn
He's a stubborn old man. 他是一個頑固的老頭。

2. 頑強obstinate
She's too obstinate to let anyone help her. 她很頑強，不願人家幫忙。

He is obstinate and will not give up.他頑強，不放棄。

3. 固執bull-headed
He is so bullheaded; he won't listen to anybody else's opinion. 他很固執，別人的話都聽不進去

Don't be bullheaded; see a doctor.不要固執，看醫生去。

4. 倔強 stubborn
She has inherited her mother's stubborn streak.

她繼承其母倔強的個性。
