Debacle與Saga這兩個字，無論從一般英英辭典的定義或英文同義字辭典的分類來看，都不具同義的內涵，所以，我們很難想像，時至今日，這兩個字在某一語境下竟然可以交替使用，如：

當然，在此範疇之外，Debacle與Saga的語意是有別的：
