因為，這樣翻譯的時候，即使你懂，在你想翻譯中文或寫英文的時候，你也不知道：
「出走/用行動表示抗議」的英文就是vote with feet，
「表達善意/釋出善意」就是extend an olive branch，
「展現武力/展現實力」就是flex one's muscles，
「引起無窮禍害」就是open up Pandora's box；
這樣一來，你對英文成語的了解就無法突破到能夠雙向運用的程度，只能停留在單向的認知，這是國內英文專家很少能用英文成語寫作或翻譯中文的原因， 畢竟， 英文成語非一般英文，要找到適切的中文對應不是那麼容易，我們要孜孜不倦的探究、 研習才能正確無誤地使用no dice，over my dead body、fat chance。
